Jeep was looking to communicate the credibility of their brand to a younger audience through extreme sports. Knowing that most "extreme sports" campaigns are cheesy and image-based, we developed an idea that connected with their audience in a more genuine way. Our thirty second spots, featuring Shaun White, brought you to Shaun's favorite skate park, where he casually recounted tales of life on the road, and made you feel like you were right there with him.
We spent an entire day hanging out, skating, and listening to Shaun rattle off stories about life as the world's greatest snowboarder. At 21 years old, Shaun has had more experiences than most folks get to see in a lifetime, but despite his lofty achievements, he's still a super down to earth dude. These spots offer a rare glimpse into Shaun's personal life, and the result is a campaign that's funny, honest, and true.
