What magazine didn't call Obama the marketer of the year for 2008? The guy used all the right media to engage his fan base on a daily basis, helping him achieve the critical mass he needed to win. We had a chance to help him seal the deal when we received a call from Moveon.org in the final weeks leading up to the election. Moveon.org was looking to create a viral video that would capture the attention of those folks who hadn't fully committed to voting on election day. The video we produced featured a personalization feature that allowed you to enter your name into the news piece, and jokingly accused 'you' of being the person that lost the election for Obama by not voting. It worked. The video was passed around by over 20 million people in the week leading up the election, and we like to point out that Obama was sworn in on January 20, 2009. The video lit up the beltway's blogosphere and Time Magazine called it the number 5 viral video of 2008. You're welcome, Mr. President.
